Many of us grew up having our family reunions and barbecues on Belle Isle; we distinctly remember eating fried chicken while watching the Detroit River roll by. Meet the Palmer Park Pudding. We took the Queen of Detroit desserts found at every family gathering and Sunday barbecue—the banana pudding—and leveled it up Chunki style. This is our soulful tribute to Palmer Park’s community spirit and Motor City tradition. Long before the world knew its name, a Detroit original was born in the center of the current Historic Atkinson Neighborhood. Our Velvet on 12th St. cookie is a tribute to Paul Zuckerman, the visionary who turned a humble storefront into the Velvet peanut butter empire right here in the “313”. This 6-ounce tribute to the 1937 Detroit garage startup features the iconic, locally-made Velvet Peanut Butter and is, as always, made gluten and dairy free.

When the economy stood still during the great Depression, Detroit was still moving. It was 1930 when two men started a small snack company on the city's east side, driven by the belief that a better-made potato chip could sustain a city that never stopped working. Nearly a century later, we've taken that iconic Detroit potato chip and folded it into our signature 1701 cookie. We start with our premium gluten free chocolate chip cookie dough and fold in hand-crushed Better Made Potato Chips. The result is the ultimate Detroit sweet & salty.
